One Night in April

Original Specs: 24x24 in | Acrylic on Canvas

I once painted a portrait of a woman with short, blonde hair, wearing a black leather coat, adding to her edgy and confident appearance. I called it, "One Knight in April,"  which was a play on words based around her maiden name.  The most striking feature of the picture that I tried to capture was her beautiful eyes, sultry and strong, almost cutting into you.  I have known and held strong admiration for the muse of the piece for over 20 years. Every time I look at the painting, I am reminded of the amazingly resilient, strong willed and unapologetic person she has always been.
